-Diamonds -
The perfect guide to find out about the 4 C's and more.
We specialise in natural GIA certificated diamonds, which are carefully chosen with the highest quality and our customers in mind.
Diamonds are formed under high pressure and temperature over billions of years and are the hardest most durable gemstone to choose, making them the most popular choice for engagement rings.

All of our diamonds adhere to the kimberley process.

- Cut -
The cut of the diamond is the only characteristic directly influenced by man.

The shape of the diamond is a matter of personal taste, with the round brilliant cut being the most popular and timeless choice. Other cuts include pear, emerald, princess, oval and heart.

- Colour -
The colour of the diamond is grading from D (exceptional white)- Z (tinted colour).
Diamonds graded beyond 'Z' with strong natural colour are very rare and are called 'fancies'. This included colours such as pink, blue, green and yellow.

- Clarity -
This is the natural occurring inclusions within a diamond, often called 'nature's fingerprints'. Depending on how many inclusions are within the diamond, this will be factor on the stones value.

Diamonds are graded from IF (Flawless/ internally flawless)- I (included- visible to the naked eye).

- Carat -
This refers to the weight and therefore the size of the diamond. 1ct is equivalent to 100 points, therefore 50 points is half a carat (0.50ct).

The size is the most determining factor of the value of a diamond. But 2 diamonds weighing the same can have very differing values, based on the other 3 C's listed above.
